Commercial Description:
Our hoppiest beer! The complex character of American hops and amber colored caramel malts make this beer very crisp and refreshing. Silver Medal winner at the G.A.B.F. 2001.

This beer has a cloudy with lots of particulate matter suspended in it with a orange light amber color. Ther was a head but it fades rather quick. It has a hoppy aroma and some trace hints of citrus. The initial taste is very bitter and it fades very quick. It has a strong bite in the begining but the palate duration is almost nonexistant. It has some mild floral hints as well as some citrus.

A lightly misty dirty blonde pour, and a very thin film of white. Musky orange peel and dusty earth aroma, with a greasy sweetness of honey and cornish tones of burnt sugars and root vegetables. Lots of wet leaves. These are autumn-toned hops, and it works halfway.

Similar flavor; sharply bitter, but laden full with squash and sweet corn vegetal textures, and dusted with sweet tea malt flavors. Floral tones hum a distant treble. The bitterness of hops and the sweetness of malt are both quite textbook in character in this example, while the crystal flavors combined with a little age create a strange tea and corn predominance over the remainder of this beer’s rather tolerable and pleasant flavors. Pine-like bitterness draws out, with some grapefruit, and far-out caramel.

Crispy, spicy palate; medium in body, and quite sharp; not astringent, but too simple in bitterness, relying too heavily on the pithiness of citrus skins and the abrasive bite of green spiciness, with none of the deeper nuances of those hop profiles. Not unlikable or even noticeably irritating in any way, but really impossible to get into. Thanks Kristine!

(Bottle). Pleasant citrusy aroma. Medium amber color, thin head. Taste is mostly pineapple with hints of orange. Mild, pretty refreshing.....seems like a restrained version of an APA.

Pours amber with a smallish head. Aroma is citrus, spicy hops, and caramel. Solid bitterness that lasts.

Bottle at Ørsted. Tasted at pub crawl with local dept. of Danish Beer enthusiasts. When I had it I only managed to write down my rating, but no notes. Bit I liked it.

A nose of maltiness and hops. A hazed amber/orange pour wth gooey white lace. Malty flavor with hard hints of citrus kinda like an orange. Nice medium bodied beer that again is a bit of a surprise. Nice drinker smooth clean very good beer.
