The aroma has a sweet raspberry fruitiness, but in a medicinal sort of way. The flavor is more sweet fruity raspberry with a slight tartness. This does not convince me there were fresh raspberries. I really wasn’t expecting much from this one so I can’t say I was disappointed.

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 26, 2009 Basically raspberry flavored seltzer. Wouldn’t know there was anything close to beer in this bottle. Tasty if you don’t think of it as trying to be a beer but more like schweppes. smcolw (350), Wayland, Massachusetts, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Oct 24, 2009 Huge (too large), white head. Rocky receding. Leaves generous lace. Neutral gold color with a slight chill haze.
Sweet, like children’s aspirin. I smell more strawberry than raspberry. More like candy than the fruit itself.
Relatively dry compared to other fruit beers. The "fruit" taste seems fake to me. The body is fuller than I expected. Little aftertaste. A light beer. Overall, the beer is drinkable...barely. zach8270 (2115), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is immediate raspberry. That’s about it. Flavor is dry grass mixing with some light malts and the tart raspberry flavor. Finishes lightly sour with a dry and grassy taste. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Appearance: Pours a brilliant, deep yellow body with a medium-sized, white head.
Smell: Thin, underlying vein of light pale malts, but mostly the nose is made up of the fruity, strongly-scented raspberry additive.
Taste: Light setup of maltiness with a sweet (but not too sweet) barley taste. Essentially no hop flavor or even bitterness. And, let us not forget the raspberry flavoring which carries you along until the drying, lightly crisp finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Acceptable! One of those beers that is, as they say, one for the ladies. A simple, basic beer designed to deliver the raspberry flavoring with a minimal amount of alcohol. Reminded me of the local fruity brew, Sweetwater Blue, except with a raspberry flavoring instead of blueberry. obguthr (1039), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Draft: Raspberry aroma with a light malt undercurrent. Cloudy golden pour with a medium white head, good lacing. It tastes of stale malt and an appropriate amount of raspberries. Decent if I’m in the right mood. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
