Bottle shared at a rating session in Tromsø. Filmy, off-white layer over a hazy, reddish-brown body. Caramel malty aroma. The flavour has a caramel profile with a touch of tartness. Finsih off with a yeasty note. Thanks to Yngwie for providing us with this one (21.11.2007).

August 05: A superbly beautiful red color. The aroma hops are too dominating and spicy, in a kind of clove/resin-like way. I liked it better in May from draught.

12 oz bottle, via Storm. Pours a slightly cloudy dark amber colored body under a one finger tight bubbled beige head that left some thick lacing. Aroma is of fairly thick toffee and light caramel maltiness. Flavor is alot more watery than the aroma let on. Minimal malt contribution with a lightly sweet grainy malt base. Finishes fairly dry with a little bit of a soggy cardboard note. Mouthfeel is fairly light bodied with moderate fizzy carbonation. Kind of a soggy limp feel to it. Overall, an OK beer, but kind of nondescript. Minimal maltiness and lacking in cleanliness overall.
