Commercial Description:

Black with a decent brown head. Powerfull complex aroma of smoked malts, english liqurice, tar and black chocolate, very nice. Flavor is so smooth and enjoyable. Thich creamy raw coffee and chocolate, again with a smoked touch. The taste sticks in your mouth like tar and leaves a nice smooth smoked and roasted bitterness. This is an exelent piece of maltwork.

Bottle. Black with a light brown head. Smoke! A lot of smoke for not being a dedicated smoke beer. Also notes of coffee, brown sugar and maybe some caramel. Medium body.

33 cl bottle. Almost black with a moderate tan head. Smoky coffee, tobacco and mild brown sugar. Starts with black licorice tang and unsweetened chocolate. Smoked prunes and dry molasses add just enough sweetness to balance the dark roast. Mellow bitter finish. Espresso and a cigar; wonderful.

Bottle. Dark brown, with a thick tan head. Impressive malt aroma, with vanilla and coffee standing out. Medium body and bitter (from the burnt malt). A bit dry.

Bottle. Thanks for sharing heemer. Poured an opaque black color. Attractive khaki head. Very rich aroma of chocolate and roasty malt. Wow that smelled good. Tasted of dark chocolate and coffee with a hint of burnt stick. There was some roasty bitterness at the end. Delicious. Excellent beer.
