Oct 7, 2004 Updated: Jun 12, 2005Dark brown with a foamy light tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, some brown sugar and grassy tones. Not too sweet. Flavor on the other hand is exremely sweet and sugary. Notes of brown sugar. A really nice hvidtøl, though the sweetness gets too much in the long run.

Oct 3, 2004 Not bad at all. Too sweet, but the smoked malt adds something that goes fine with the sweetness. Dark and with a fine head.

Aug 17, 2004 A dark brown beer with a small collapsing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, licorice, and chocolate. The flavor is very sweet with notes of licorice an a dry roasted finish. A lovely flavor and a great hvidtøl.

Nov 4, 2002 Sigmund dows’nt know what the hell he is talking about. This is a beer that os supposed to be drunken at Christmas together with rice pudding. This ’hvidtøl’ has it all. it is very sweet, but it has’nt the metallic taste, which sometmes marks the other Danish hvidt’l.
