This is a beer that os supposed to be drunken at Christmas together with rice pudding. This ’hvidtøl’ has it all. it is very sweet, but it has’nt the metallic taste, which sometmes marks the other Danish hvidt’l. Ungstrup (15289), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, licorice, and chocolate. The flavor is very sweet with notes of licorice an a dry roasted finish. A lovely flavor and a great hvidtøl. Very sweet, sugary, with molasses. Some roastedness and smoke, but too sweet overall. Heavy body with a hint of vanilla at the very end after the swallow. Thanks, Ivan. Light malt and medium smoked ham nose. Very sweet molasses taste with a nice touch of smokiness. Actually I kind of liked the mixture of sweetness and smokiness. Hansen (2282), Randers, Denmark

This one is not from my neighbourhood, so it must be someone elses memories this time. Anyway, a varey creamy representative of the type. Has a roasted andd very heavy malt nose. The mouth is really big and puffy, like filling it with whiped cream added caramel. Sweet as a bonbon. Very smooth finih too. like a spicy cake.
