KimJohansen (4296), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 27, 2008 Clear deep golden with medium white head. Sweet aroma with mild malty notes. Sweet and somewhat spiced flavour with malt and caramel notes. Finished mild bitter. kfl (57), Denmark Sep 15, 2008 Bottle 50 cl. Pours clear golden with a big white head. Nice display of lacework. Grassy aroma with strong notes of Porse (bog myrtle?). The bog myrtle is also very present in the flavor along with notes of malts. Beer_2000 (1269), Kristiansand, Norway May 4, 2008 330 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a big white head. Aroma is a bit rank bitter and almost perfumed. Flavor is sweet malt and bitter, a quite ordinary pilsner. I really don’t recognize much of the bog myrtle, maybe that’s the perfumed aroma or maybe this beer has to be really fresh to let the spicy flavor come to life. IMO this is just another industrial pilsner. Would try to find a fresh bottle for re-rating. Bragesnak (1338), Aarhus, Denmark Apr 27, 2008 Fredagsbaren på Biologi, Aarhus, DK

The bogmyrthle is very present and supplements the hop bitterness well BeerBiker (1209), Odense, Denmark Jan 15, 2008 They are good people up there at the dark side of Jutland. I like myrtle and the funny story behind the collecting of the myrtle. They go for a walk in the shire on a working day. Great!
