Sweet taste with a strong feeling of the ABV. Yellow colour. This is not a traditional Danish Cristmas beer. Disappointing.

Nov 25, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Slight fruity and hoppy aroma. Medium to fullbodied. Flavour is softly sweetend, almost with a marzipan note. Finish continues at the same lines. Nice and filling Christmas brew.

Dec 16, 2002 Light golden like a pils, smells like a pils with some more alcohol (which indeed this beer has!), tastes like a very strong pils. As such this beer is not bad, but I guess you have to be Danish to figure how anyone would choose to drink this stuff for Christmas (and even name it a "Christmas Brew"). Alcohol is not everything, for Christmas I want darker malts than they have used here! This beer must be a distant relative of Carlsberg’s Elephant. Save it for a cool summer’s night.

Dec 23, 2002 A golden beer with a fine head. It has a faint sweet alcoholic aroma. A very filling beer with a very sweet flavor with hints of the alcohol content. Nothing special in the taste but a nice strong beer - to keep the warmth in winter.
