Deep brown, bordering on black. A great, big, creamy cappuccino head. Great duration. Aroma is rather sweet, lots of chocolate, light coffee and toffee. Okay mouthfeel, quite creamy. Flavour is rather sweet again, with some malt astringency, chocolate, light coffee and good dryness from the malts. Doesn’t seem as composed as the forsøgsbryg, but still a nice brew!

Almost black colour. Fruity, plummy aroma along with darker sensations. Light toasty in flavour with bit of licorice. Soft mouthfeel with a slight alcohol bite. Medium bitterness.

Clear dark brown color, light brown head. Elderflower scent, also salty. Salty, salmiak, dry taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Black with a brown head, some lacings. Aroma heavy malty (roasted hard, burnt, chocolate, licorice), medium hoppy. Flavor medium/heavy sweet, medium bitter, but more dominating in the end. Medium/full body.

Jun 15, 2008 Bottle. Nice big fully lasting beige head. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, coffee and notes of licorice.

Jun 14, 2008 This is a coffee porter, with a cold cup of regular coffee’s bitterness. It is a nice very dark brown colour, not much head, and a coffee aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Not very satisfying. Thanks Maria.
