KnutAlbert (2163), Oslo, Norway Jun 4, 2006 A Pilsener???
Rich flavour, with lost of dried fruit - prunes, dates and raisins. Some port aroma as well, and I this tasted more like 8 or 9 % than 5%. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 12, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2007 Golden color; creamy head. Nice hoppy, fruity aroma (Cascade-like). The body is weaker and drier thn expected, with light crispy malt flavor, bold bitterness, a good amount of hop oils. A bit odd, but good. cheeta (590), Langå, Denmark Nov 15, 2007 Heavy malty aroma. Huge creamy off-white head. Excellent lacing. Fully lasting longevity. Clear orange body. Moderate bitter initial flavor, with a light bitter finish flavor and a average finish duration. Medium palate. madsberg (4365), Bangalore, India Jun 8, 2006 Draught @ KØ 2006: Amber coloured. Dusty. Dense beige head. Sweet and fruit aroma. Light yeast notes. Flavour as well is sweet and fruity and has some spicy and yeasty notes. Reminds me a lot of a abbey tripel or blond. Is light herbal though. Medium body. Is very light bitter in the end. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden May 22, 2006 Updated: May 23, 2006[Draught at Københavnske Øldage] Clear pale golden, Aroma of dried pineapples. medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Evident almond yeast character. Well crafted, but lacks the levels of complexity required for a Belgian ale. Still a good beer. Sadly this beer was labelled a pilsener, and as the ultimate insult to pilseners this fruity, yeasty ale won the pilsener contest at Københavnske Øldage.
