bfgill (120), Tasmania, Australia Oct 26, 2003 Updated: Nov 14, 2003 Re-rate: A lot different than i first remember it. Fairly one-dimensional, nice fruity flavour - some apricot. Much better than last time, its good that coopers can make some nice different beers. cheers
mustang3 (254), Whitby, Canada Aug 2, 2005 Probably the worst bottle-conditioned beer I’ve ever had. Pours out a decent dark yellow/golden colour. Sweet fruity nose, the flavour has some vague weak hoppiness and inidistinct fruitiness. Decent malt biscuit flavour as well. highlandlad (1203), Sydney, Australia Jan 26, 2005 One of the most mediocre ales in the otherwise formidable Coopers line-up. There’s nothing especially bad about it but it has none of the character of the brewer’s best ales. It poured a golden lager colour with a small disappearing head. Distinctive nose with bubble gum, fruit and malt characters. Thin-to-medium body with a light, quenching palate. A session ale but short on character. (Bottle) Nemo (100), Fremantle, Australia Jun 25, 2004 Golden Amber colouring with a small foamy head. Floral, honey aroma. Dry, thin with a hint of roasted malt, floral and honey in the taste. Trogdor (193), brisbane, Australia Mar 9, 2004 POR, honey, light flowery hop and slight estery aromas.
medium light golden colour with small smooth head.
light dry honeyed malt flavour with light floral hop and slightly estery flavours.
thin and drying with light to medium bitterness.
A light sessional ale, pretty average. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Feb 26, 2004 This beer did not do anything for me at all. Some old musty flavors and aromas. The taste is crisp, but bland with just a hint of hops and honey. Watery malt flavors are predominant. Unsatisfying.
