| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 17, 2009 The aroma is well hopped with plenty of malt also. There is pine and citrus as well as grass and caramel. The appearance is copper with a large head for an IPA. The flavor is like the aroma with a touch of earthiness. The palate is typical for the style with a bitter finish. Overall a fine beer. Palidor19 (1791), Brandon, Florida, USA

Hops, grapefruit and lime on the nose. Very floral all the way through. Flavours are delightfully hoppy, with soft citrus notes and a chewy finish. Awesome well balanced IPA, delightful in every way. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 3, 2009 Bottle thanks to tronraner, the last brew left from our trade unfortunately. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head and tons of lacing. The aroma is sweet grapefruit hops, some caramel also. The flavor is very nice; a smooth and flavorful citrus hop, mostly grapefruit, a lot of balance achieved by a biscuit like malt and some caramel. Very nice and quaffable. Nose-light oxidation, light hay/straw, saliva. Taste-rust, very medium hops, nicely unsweet (gets extra points for that), low grapefruit, medium bitter. MaltOMeal (653), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA
