The head is a dense, light tan film. The aroma is light caramel, some mild catty notes, some berry & citrus fruity notes and a touch of plastic. Light and fluffy carbonation. Mild caramel sweetness at the fore-flavor- touch of malt husk is in there, becoming peanuty when it warms. The hop presence is a touch earthy, offering a lightly piny finish. A simple IPA, on the malty side, but it doesn’t have any huge flaws. Decent. cbkschubert (1975), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

As soon as I popped the cap, foam started to pour out the bottle. However, as I poured the beer into the glass, it only left a one finger thick off white head. Weird. Pours a slightly hazy copper color. Light lacing. Aroma is a toasted caramel malt and light herbal hops. Flavor is mostly toasted malt with a lingering bitter finish. Where’s the Cascade and Centennial hops? Medium body. Worth a try. SSSteve (2071), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 23, 2008 Big deep caramel orange body with a thin off white head that just sits there as a light cover forever. A good malty aroma, caramel and toffee with a light hoppiness. Taste is big and spicy hop finish over a strong malt caramel in the background. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 11, 2008 Starts out innocently enough with an attractive amber pour and a large off-white head. Appetizing to look at. The aroma hints at caramel and pine. The flavor has an astringent bitterness up front with a clashing caramel flavor in the back. In between is wet cereal. Doesnt really taste like an IPA. daknole (2940), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a copper color with a light head. Aroma lends itself to some spicy and fruity hops. But flavor is very malty with the hops taking a back seat. Average at best. emacgee (1881), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
