I don’t mean to sound negative about Thomas Creek, but. . wait, yes I do, their beers are some of the most watery I’ve encountered, this was no exception. Mostly watery, with the strangest color to it. It was a rosy-grey looking color with some bubbly disipating off-white head. DMS in the nose, with a good dose of vegetal flavor on the end. A bit of herbal, spicy hops provide some relief, mixed with a little bit of pils malt. Mostly water though, poured this one out. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 17, 2004 At the GHBF from Suttree via Joe M: The bottle produced a hazed golden hue with a large fizzy head and some lace. The aroma is a typical german style with some Saaz hops in addition to mild malt tones and dusty yeast esters. The taste was a big letdown, I found a sourness and chemical undertone which ruined the crispness of the hops. The feel was also disappointing, thin and watery without the sharpness expected from a German styled pils. It looks good and smelled okay but then fell flat on it’s face. Sorry, but I have to slam this one. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA

Nice fluffy body, grainy malts, some saaz. Would benefit from a snappier crispness, maybe it’s not the freshest bottle. A nice pils nonetheless. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden

Hazy golden, rich head. Spicy nose. Dry, crisp and hoppy with medium bitter finish. Well made, and well balanced. envane (251), Evanston, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 24, 2004 Hazy dark yellow with floaties (?!). Aroma of grass. Slightly sour, probably due to age. Not enough hops to be a pilsener. Eh. Thanks to Springslicker for this.
