Taste is light hop. 3.2 They seem to be aware that some product doesn’t go out at optimal/acceptable to the beer drinker condition and are working on it. Seems to affect their bottled product more than kegs. I had it in a bottle too. If I was rating it…1.8 Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Poured clear amber color with am average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing.
Medium hop and toasted malt aroma.
Medium body with a sticky texture and lively carbonation.
Medium bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
I would recommend this to a freind for a session beer. BBB63 (4271), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 17, 2004 At the GHBF from Suttree via Joe M: The bottle produced a hazed golden hue with a large fizzy head and some lace. The aroma is a typical german style with some Saaz hops in addition to mild malt tones and dusty yeast esters. The taste was a big letdown, I found a sourness and chemical undertone which ruined the crispness of the hops. The feel was also disappointing, thin and watery without the sharpness expected from a German styled pils. It looks good and smelled okay but then fell flat on it’s face. Sorry, but I have to slam this one. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA
