another native SC beer. pours a semi-transluscent golden color with nice effervescence. nose of straw, earth, and a slight bit of hops. thin, malted barley taste that was light and a little bland. not my favorite from thomas creek but overall a great brewery with great people.

Bottle. A sour plum/plastic aroma. Lightly cloudy yellow brown color with small head. Lightly sweet old fermenting fruit flavor. Very little body. Minimal maltiness and hops. The multi-grain label would seem to imply a malty beer but this is very light.

Poured a slightly hazed golden yellow color with a thin white head. Phenolic band-aid aroma. Light fruity notes. Sweet grainy malt. The flavor had a light tartness and acidity. Dry finish with a moderate bitterness. Thin bodied.

via trade with decaturstevo - Pours a hazy amber color with a light film for a head. Aroma is fruity. Has a very tart fruit flavor. Light to medium body. The beer hangs on the tongue too long. Not quite what I was expecting. Thanks Steve.

Pours a medium amber with a slight chill haze and a small, white head. The aroma is lightly fruity. Slight hop aroma and flavor. A moderate, bready maltiness starts to come through at the end. Just enough bitterness to crispen it up. Not an exciting beer, but this would be a good session beer.

Re-rated Hell of a note when aroma is the biggest thing a beer has going for it but that is the case with this one. Some hops and some kind of fruity something. Poured a deep gold almost amber A mild sweet maltiness followed by a pretty decent bitter. The palate is a bit fizzy and watery when cold., just watery as it warms. Really a pretty decent beer to drink on. I was pretty hard on it the first time around. Today it was a pretty tasty little nugget for what it is suppose to be.

Semi-hazy and dulled caramel-orange in color with a sudsy, 1/3 inch white head on top and bubbles furthering its growth. Grainy aroma indeed - hay, burlap, chicken feed bags, straw hats with melted caramel, along with mildew ridden warped wooden blanks. Wishy washy flavor with a thin display etches in, imparting a curt caramel edge and a hop pinch at the sides of the tongue. Salty and margarine-laden sourdough crust. Apple fritters fried in corn fat and potatoes shavings to boot. Slippery and clinging to the mouth’s top with an acidic bite and carbonation zing. A caramel praline characteristic underscores the finish, but it sears and separates way too easily when it’s all said and done.

Sharp, funky cheese-like aroma along with grassy hops. Pale yellow/golden color with a two ginger thick white head. Spritzy, citrus, grain tinged fore. Very Belgian feel to it. Yeasty with creamy fruit mash notes and more of that spritzy feel in the finish. I’d really like to know if they used a Belgian Yeast for this. Anyway I think it is highly underrated...it’s a damn well put together beer.
