A bit of "juicy fruit" nose. Taste is fizzy, with a bit of citrus and pine. Not a lot of depth, could stand a bit more malt. Seems like they had the right idea, just didn’t craft it quite right. Thanks to Suttree for the trade. belgianhomebrew (646), Acworth, Georgia, USA

Light orange color, decent clumpy white head. Aroma has some good hops notes in it, with some light malt notes and a bit of herbal/grass character. Flavor shows more hops, like fuggles or colombus, something a little bit out of the ordinary anyways. Very smooth palate, it’s tough to describe. Not creamy or oily, just. . . smooth. Notes of rose petals, vanilla essence, rye. Some soap on the finish detracts, however. Very intriguing beer, wish I had more to try actually. Medium body, moderate carbonation. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 31, 2004 Thanks goes out to Suttree for giving me this beer sometime way back when.... bout time I got around to it. This beer pours a mild yellow color with a quickly dissipating soapy white head. Sure there was no head, but there was a nice sheath of lacing left for the majority of this beer...bonus points. Also some bonus points for the massive chunkies left floating in this beer after only 9 months of aging...geez!!!! The aroma is malty and sweet with a hint of raisins and vanilla. The flavor is light bodied and slightly carbonated...sweet malty, almost raisiny finish, dry with a very little hoppy bitterness if anywhere. A hint of vanilla in the finish as well... sweet, but not very complex. One-sided but definitely not something I’d turn down trying again. JohnC (2286), Mission Viejo, California, USA

Pours an opaque honey color with a nice flavor. It’s crisp up front w/ a nice wet finish. Good flavor. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 19, 2004 Bottle pours a cloudy dirty golden, small white milk froth like head, lively carbonation, with so-so lacing.   Malty aroma, slight grain & grass but they are very subtle.   Malty flavor, slightly buttery too.   Some grain as well, light, and quite palatable.   Medium body and mouthfeel.   Light finish, very quick or non-existant.   Lingering maltiness in the aftertaste.   Not bad, but nothing real interesting.   Thanks goes out to Suttree for the trade!

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 8, 2004 Pours a clear amber with small head that went away pretty quick. Not a good sign. Light, malty aroma with a tiny bit of floral to it. I go into this expecting the worst but an pleasantly surprised by the taste. Yes it’s malty but the taste of the multi grains and light hoppiness balances it out pretty well. Not too sweet and medium bodied, this wasn’t bad at all. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 20, 2004 Nice copper color under a huge off white head that remains for the session. Fruity aroma along with malt, hops and yeast. After detecting all the aromas, it was a disappointment to have no flavor there to back it up. What started out to be promising ended with a fizzy watery finish.
