Limited availablity on tap at the brewery. After taking a tour, I tried a sample and was very impressed. TC has brewed a limited run for this year and I highly recommend you try to find it. Poured beige head, great retention and lacing. Good malt backbone to support the hops. The mouthfeel was on par with other Octoberfests. Overall, an excellent beer

Sampled at the 10th annual Brewgrass festival in Ashville. Clear amber pour. Big bubbly, thick, creamy head. Good looking. Syrupy and malty sweetness and toasted malt. Just like an Oktoberfest should smell in my opinion. Lightly sweet roasted malt with the presence of well balanced pine and spicy hops (especially in the finish). Body is creamy and somewhat sticky (which detracts) with a dry finish. Not too bad, quite drinkable.

Nice pale copper body with a good head. The aroma is malty with just a touch of noble hops in there. The body is malty, but not too sweet. Very quaffable.

clear amber, nice fine beige head, sweet slightly hopped aroma, rich malt flavor, touch of carmel sweetness but well balanced with just enough earthy hop character to keep it interesting,

Knoxville Brewer’s Jam 10/04. Clear deep amber with a thin head. Malty, proper Oktoberfest aroma. Just enough sweet malt in the flavor followed by crisp, slightly acidic dry finish. Not bad.

Draft sample at Knoxville Brewers Jam 2009. Poured a clear ruby brown color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting and good lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable above average brew for style.
