Bottle from Whole Foods in Greenville, SC. Very typical porter, but that’s not to say it’s poor quality. Moderate aromas and flavors. Dry finish. Very sessionable, drinkable porter without being too thin or boring.

Bottle pours very dark brown/almost black with light tan head. Aroma is subtle chocolate with a touch of hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is more light chocolate flavor and finishes crisp with a slight hop crispness. A little caramel shines through.

Pours a dark brown that allows light. Head is one finger thick creamy light tan. The nose is sweet, molasses, some bitter chocolate, tad off, fruity, . The flavor is a bit astringent, sweet, rich, chocolate/coffee, peanut shells, bitter. Palate is not too good, bitter grain. 3

Dark brown pour with thin tan head and a smidgen of spotty lace. Light roasty aroma. Body was little thin. Chocolate and light coffee. I really enjoyed the hop presence here
