On cask at the 1/27/07 Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting: Pours a mostly opaque with dark brown edges and a thin ring of tannish head. Aroma of sweet dark malt with some plum and raisiny complexity. Body starts with a dark caramely malty sweet flavor and some toasty notes with a good amount of dark chocolate in the finish. A nice porter.

Black, no head. Mildly chocolate aroma. Typical Porter flavors - chocolate, coffee, etc - but there is a pronounced alcohol burn that is unusual for an under 6% (?) beer. Unique savory spicy finish.
