Bottle pours reddish gold with almost no head or lacing. Aroma of fresh bread, almost no hop presence. Has a fresh, balanced taste with a quick finish of nutty malt. Refreshing drinker for hot summer days.

Pours a fading off-white head with a clear pale amber body. Aroma has notes of apple, bread, and hops. Tastes like caramel notes of apple and cardboard.

Sampled at the Impromptu Butter’s 5th cellar clearance. Clear amber pour with reddish highlights and thin ring of whitish head. Sweet caramel aroma with just the slightest vegetal notes become more evident in the flavor. Slightly metallic finish. Not all that great. Just a pretty average brew.

Bottle: Thanks Secret Santa! Deep copper pour with a thing off white film of head. Aroma is dominated by caramel malt, touch of husky character and some diacetyl. Light bodied- some mild caramel malt in the flavor. Low bitterness. Smooth, rounded carbonation- no evident flaws; just extremely underwhelming & a touch buttery.

12 ounce bottle from Bruisin Ales in Asheville. Pours a clear strawberry red color with a thin head. Poor retention and lacing. Nutty grainy aroma with a touch of caramel and chlorine. Taste is grain and caramel with a nutty finish. Thin bodied.

12 oz bottle
Thanks to Santa for packing this into my box. I cracked it open on a slow evening when I was not in the mood for anything dense. Maybe I got a fresh bottle but I actually enjoyed it. I would not buy it as a daily drinker given some of the other options here in Ohio but if it ever showed up I might suggest it to friends.

Aroma / Appearance - Transparent and ruby colored the body bubbled with lively carbonation. As the pillowy head settled it released cherry, cinnamon, and a hint of oakiness. Delicate and airy it did not last for long.

Flavor / Palate - Fluid and creamy liquid washed across the tongue. A trail of sweetness combined with graham crackers, cheesecake, and some almonds created a reasonable experience. Without fatiguing the palate it has enough character to make it a nice beer.

Red amber in color with a small white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy with notes of caramel. Flavor is weak with some hops and fruit.
