Sampled from bottle. Pours a bright orange colour with an initially large head that leaves behind quite a bit of lacing. Aroma is semi-nutty, mildly floral hop scent with soft dark fruit notes. Spice, fruit and well integrated hop flavors. A really nice beer overall, my kind of amber for sure. Thanks Louis!

Hazy light amber. Light, slightly husky, macroish aroma. Thin, crackery taste. Caramel-accented with a slight finishing dryness. pretty standard.

Draught @ Flying Saucer, Columbia SC. Clear amber, small tan head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Soft low carbonation. Thin, sweet, watery, caramel malt-forward amber ale. Not special but not bad either.

Bottle. Coppery-amber, clear with tight tan head. Boring aroma. Some mild toasted grain and bread. Is sweet but good, juicy, quaffable. Apple and plum sweetness but not cloying and finishes dry. 5-3-6-3-13

Poured at the Jupiter brewfest. Dark amber pour. Malty as hell on the nose with a very malty flavor as well. Roasted malt, caramel and a very slight hop profile peeks out. Fair to good.

Pours a very dark amber in color. Pretty big decent bubbly white head. Smell is malty and slightly ’’off’’ hops. Beer seems to be stale or old, but the bottle’s best by date is still a ways off. Taste is uninviting and off putting. Some soapy notes as well. Not good.

Sample at the Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Poured a clear amber/red color with a thin off white head. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Flavor was caramel and nuts, with a piney finish.

Draft sample at KBJ08. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus hop and toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and flat carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Mostly clear, orange/copper body with a medium sized beige head. Restrained aroma of toasted grain, caramel, and vague hops. Taste is well balanced. Plenty of caramel sweetness with a vague hop bitterness. No obvious flaws and easy to drink but no world beater.
