| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 16, 2008 A pleasent change. Poured with a nice white head, but not nearly red, more a light copper. Really good mouth feel with good malty caramel flavor that is refreshing. Just a touch of hops. CanIHave4Beers (912), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Had this while on Hilton Head Island. It was a very pleasant and refreshing ale. Pours with a small fluffy head that leaves some nice lace, has a good aroma of caramel and plenty of floral hops. Generally the beer is tasty well hopped but well balanced by a biscuty malt. Not to bad if you can find it. wcampbell (582), Central, South Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 16, 2008 Not very good. Caramel malty flavor, but with a rye bread taste similar to some of their other beers. Grainy and strange tasting. Could have used some more hops or anything to mix with the rye bread taste. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Amberish orange in color with a decent head. Malty sweet, grapes, and other fruits are in the aromas. Taste is much the same as the smell. Medium body. Better than I expected. Cybercat (812), Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 4, 2008 Color is a nice cloudy golden amber. Aroma is rich and malty, rather jazzy and lively. Flavor is very much like the aroma - mostly malty, with a hint of hop bitterness, plenty of zing and sass. This is a satisfying ale, not spectacular but definitely a delight.
