I only have one note for the Amber, Pilsner and Red Ale - "bland" and I gave them all the same scores. I guess wasn’t into writing much at the time.

cloudy copper/caramel with a small creamy off-white head. aroma has notes of caramel and flowery hops. very sweet aroma. sweet and sugary flavors with some hops. some green apple sourness and some caramel. i enjoy this more than the doppelbock but it’s still not that good.

Bottle from decaturstevo. Pours clear copper with a white head supported by streams of carbonation. Aroma of caramel, perfume. Body tending to light, carbonation tending to heavy. As with several other Thomas Creek beers, there is a sour quality that seems to indicate infection, but in this one it is not so pronounced as previous styles. This is almost a pretty good beer.

Got this from Jmichael as a freebie. The beer pours to a nice glowing amber body wit ha thin, dense white head. The aroma is a grainy hoppy amber ale. The flavor is a toasted toffee on the back end with a grainy front end. A light hop pervades. So-so on the palate.

clear amber color, didn’t find anything outstanding with this one. would say it was just a run of the mill Amber Ale. would drink it if given to me, but, wouldn’t buy it again.
