Bottle from Capone’s. Hazy dark straw pour with 1-finger whitish heas, and some floaties (this one is bottle conditioned). The aroma was a fairly pleasant corn flakey malt, coupled with citrus, hops, and vanilla beans. The flavor was sour malty, citric, with a decent vanilla hit, and some creaminess in the finish. A bit too tart for my taste, and not vanilla enough. I’d actually prefer a more cream soda flavor to the rather tart, mellow vanilla I got here. Not horrible, but probably not one I’d buy again.

Oh my...this sucks. I did not have high expectations for this beer and was right on the mark. Try to imagine Budweiser with a scoop of vanilla ice cream blended into it.

Pours hazy golden color. thin white head. Slight aroma of vanilla air freshener. tastes very light and chemical vanilla flavor. too fizzy for a light cream-lagerale for me.

Bottle. Pours a faintly cloudy yellow with creamy white head and lots of carbonation. The aroma is a little bit spicy with some malt, European hops, and vanilla. The flavor is not subtle... way overboard on the vanilla if you ask me. Also some acidity and a dry finish. Fizzy mouthfeel. Meh.

12oz bottle via trade with SpringsLicker! - Thanks Jay! - Pours hazypale golden with no head at all. Aromas is vanilla over grain and a touch of lemon. Flavor is very vanilla, and some light grains. Palate is light and fizzy with a watered down sense to it. Tastes alot like cream soda to me. Definitely unique

The first beer I sampled at the 2006 Southern Brewers Festival. Straw colored with a foamy head. The aroma definitely had a strong vanilla presence on top of a light lager-ish grain. Crisp, bitter flavor with only an aftertaste of vanilla. More bitter and woody that I would have guessed and not nearly as thirst quenching. Dryish mouth feel. Nothing I’ll have again.
