Commercial Description:
Truly the local favorite: Our American Pale Ale is a consistent First Place winner of the annual Hartford Advocate Best of Hartford Reader's Poll award for Best Micro Brew Beer. This extremely vivid ale stresses a crisp hop bitterness, lingering flavor and the aroma of distinctive West Coast ales. A caramel sweetness in the malt balances out the chock-full-of-hops flavor to yield a complex but quite refreshing, medium-bodied brew.

Thanks Chuck. The beer pours to a lightly hazy shiny amber body with a white head. The aroma is floral, aromatic hops. The flavor is sweet floral hops, and chewy malts. Clean palate is lightly bitter and sweet.

Sampled during Cheesehead YeHA in Brookfield, Wisconsin and shared by MIBRomeo. Pours a clear amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a fine film and white ring along with some spotty lacing. Aroma of sweetened caramel malt, a touch of citrus and floral hops and some citrus fruit in the background. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of roasted caramel malt, some grapefruit zest and a touch of bitter citrus. Finish is slightly dry with a caramel and grapefruit citrus zest aftertaste.

I’m not sure who brought this, but Thanks! Poured clear medium caramel with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up semi-sweet caramel with light floral and herbal hoppage.. some fruit (incl. citrus) at the back. The flavor had a very nice toasty caramel backing supporting moderate pine and grapefruit bitterness.. nice balance, and floral notes increased approaching the finish.. not too exciting, but tasty. Medium-bodied with nice balance.. almost too dry, though.

Malty aroma. Not over powering apple yeast smell. Golden amber color with a small white head. Full malt flavor in the beginning that has a slight sweetness to it. Mellows in the finish with a chewy palate.

This beer pours a cloudy amber with a lot of suspended particles in it. There is no head nor is there any laceing in th glass. The aroma has hops and carmel malt with some hints of apricot. As you drink it there is an initial bitterness on the tip of your tounge and hops along the sides of your mouth. the palate is full bodied with some carmel coating and hints of malt and apricot.

Pours an amber colour with a large off white frothy head. Aroma of caramel malts, Floral hops, light dark fruits and alcohol. Initial is loaded with caramel malts and vinous hops. Light dark fruits make their appearance. Finishing with those vinous hops and light malts. Palate duration is average. Light to medium body. Head retention and lacing of the glass is good.
