Commercial Description:
Truly the local favorite: Our American Pale Ale is a consistent First Place winner of the annual Hartford Advocate Best of Hartford Reader's Poll award for Best Micro Brew Beer. This extremely vivid ale stresses a crisp hop bitterness, lingering flavor and the aroma of distinctive West Coast ales. A caramel sweetness in the malt balances out the chock-full-of-hops flavor to yield a complex but quite refreshing, medium-bodied brew.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus, from his Boston trip. Pours copper with a white head. Aroma of hops, and citrus. The flavor is bitter, citrusy, and floral. Good beer.

Bottle poured into a small goblet. Pours with no head and just some lacing. Color is orangish amber. Its kind of just there, definitely an APA. Hops are present but not overwhelming. Malt flavors are subdued. Some hop bitterness. A water empty aftertaste. Not bad and fine, actually crazyvin says it best, its "only okay."

Bottle. Foamy head, deep amber colour. Almost non-existent nose. As for flavor, where is it? I’d like to see a little more malt and hops. Not much going on here. Smooth and drinkable, but boring. Are all American Pale Ales this bland?

Bottle: Pours Amber in color. Small white head. Good lacing. Has a slight orangish tinge with a pine nose to top it off. It also seems to have a slight nutty smell to it. Tastes a little bit watered down, but has a small pine taste with a hint of caramel as well.

reddish orange with a small white head. malty bready aroma. didn’t really notice much hops on aroma. a mildly hopped pale ale focusing more on the malt character(bready, caramel). medium-bodied. not that great for an apa but im eager to try some of other beers they offer(porter, doppel)
