Commercial Description:
Truly the local favorite: Our American Pale Ale is a consistent First Place winner of the annual Hartford Advocate Best of Hartford Reader's Poll award for Best Micro Brew Beer. This extremely vivid ale stresses a crisp hop bitterness, lingering flavor and the aroma of distinctive West Coast ales. A caramel sweetness in the malt balances out the chock-full-of-hops flavor to yield a complex but quite refreshing, medium-bodied brew.

reddish orange with a small white head. malty bready aroma. didn’t really notice much hops on aroma. a mildly hopped pale ale focusing more on the malt character(bready, caramel). medium-bodied. not that great for an apa but im eager to try some of other beers they offer(porter, doppel)

Bottle. Copper with quickly diminishing frothy off white head. Aroma of floral hops mostly with some buiscuity malt. Flavor of hops throughout, leaving a bitter finish with some noticeable yeastiness (could be the particular batch). Light-medium palate with a lot of carbonation, maybe a little too much. Seems a little imbalanced. I’d like to have just a little more caramel malt sweetness and body up against those hops.

Amber/copper body with little head. Mild hoppy aroma. Flavor is full-bodied and rich, with a medium hoppiness along with a thick, bready maltiness. Solid APA but not exceptional.

this beer is fairly dark for a pale ale. it starts bitter - then sweet the a long bitter aftertaste. this is a good showing for ’hooker’ but falls short to be a ’consistent winner’ as they claim

Bottle At least 3 years old. No BB. Courtesy Niels Jørgen at Wintercoat. Creamy white mostly lasting head. Light amber colour. Powerfull citrus hoppy aroma. (cascade?) Oki flavor, average finish. watery palate, maybe because its old.

Poured to a brown/red color, with thin, white head, and some lacing. Some hops and light citrus in the aroma. taste was a hop-malt balance, and an okay finish. Decent, but nothing to write home about.

12oz bottle: A red brown pour with a small dissipating head. Initial hoppines in the nose but it then recedes to a malty slickness. A nice crisp mouthfeel with decent balance between hop bitterness and caramel maltiness. Light bodied. Seems like a good session brew. Nice and dry on the finish. A good six pack beer.
