Commercial Description:
Truly the local favorite: Our American Pale Ale is a consistent First Place winner of the annual Hartford Advocate Best of Hartford Reader's Poll award for Best Micro Brew Beer. This extremely vivid ale stresses a crisp hop bitterness, lingering flavor and the aroma of distinctive West Coast ales. A caramel sweetness in the malt balances out the chock-full-of-hops flavor to yield a complex but quite refreshing, medium-bodied brew.

Thanks to jjpm74 for this one. Dark straw/copper colored, with medium off-white head. The flavor is hoppy and citric, with a medium body and some finishing biscuity malts and slight tropical fruit to match the hops.

This APA pours a clear amber. Low hops in the aroma and flavor and the body is pretty weak. This tastes a little past its prime perhaps despite being straight from the distributor and a relatively new beer in Georgia.

Dark amber pour with whitish head. Fairly hoppy aroma with a nice subtle spiciness. Taste is suprisingly unique. Nice hop/malt balance with very slight berry fruitiness. Slight spiciness compliments the malty roastiness. A little watery, but exceeded my expectations.

Brown-red pour with a very thin eggshell head. Malty aroma with some bread, I’m anticipating a sweet backbone then a slight whiff of hops and it’s still an apa. Some carbonation on the tongue and I’ll call it medium bodied. Slightly sweet malting up front, somewhat watery. Some hops into the finish... not much, but enough to make it a nice bitter finish, slightly sour, but not unpleasant. Wholly average, which still means it’s good.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with SpringsLicker (thanks!). Poured a deeper and hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Lots of small floaters. Aromas of citrus, caramel and flowers. Tastes of toasted malts, a little bready, and citrus. Thinner body.

Copper color with no head. Dry malt aroma. Good malt base that finishes dry and bitter. That the bitterness did not seem glaringly due to hops was a nice shakeup.
