Appearance was boring golden and with a head that was a tad on the weak side. The aroma was light grains, some fruity ester type notes. The flavor followed, some hops to keep it clean and balanced. Mouthfeel is as expected, light and clean, amply carbonated to keep this even more drinkable. Nothing to write home about (the style), but for what it portends to be, not bad. durhambeer (1222), Durham, USA

Nice balance of sweet and grainy malt and mild bitter hops. Dry finish. I dunno... I think there was still a bit of Westy 8 lingering in my glass, but this beer intrigued me much more than I thought it would. Very drinkable. lithy (1750), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 13, 2009 The aroma has corn, plastic, yeast, dried hay, and fresh cut grass. The appearance is golden with a really thin head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall it has qualities that I dont like but somehow it manages to be drinkable. thornecb (1799), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 1, 2009 Pours clear, pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention leaves no lacing as it recedes. Biscuit and malt aromas. Crisp with malts from front to back. Rather boring... obxdude10 (1562), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2008 This is a very enjoyable and smooth cream ale. It pours a bright and clear golden color with, at first, a generous and fluffy white head. But the foam fizzles very quickly to just a mere rim around the top of the beer. The aroma has notes of barley, hay, grass, honey and fruit. The body is pretty average and a little on the medium-strength side. The flavors, as mentioned, are enjoyable and smooth, with tones of light hops, honey, grass, earth and grains. The finish is very smooth and creamy. It’s definitely a drinkable beer, but could use a bit more flavor and substance.
