| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 8, 2007 Cask @ HDG. Pours clear copper with gold with a fluffy head. Aroma is nice and hoppy with grapefruit, pine and mango. Caramel malts are roasty and toasty but the hops are the star of the show here. Although balanced the right hops are used and props to them for that. This was a damn easy drinking casked IPA. The finish was as smooth as the first gulp. Zeswaft (1000), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 16, 2007 Bomber. This is a great example of a masculine, full bodied IPA that doesn’t have too much bite or burn, just solid, fresh flavor and well blended ingredients. Pours a thick white head that sits gracefully atop a copper body, slightly hazy. Hop aroma is very fresh, light and crisp, to the point. No syrupy resin penetrating the nostrils. flavor is more of the same. malt lingering in the shadows, just enough to provide a little backbone. Finishes light and long, with a touch of desirable acidity. Very quaffable, well done. retailgiant (9), USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 15, 2007 On tap at JP OMalleys in Allentown PA.
A solid IPA for those not looking for a big hop flavor since the flavor is not overpowering.
