12 oz bottle courtesy of an extra from Cletus. Big thanks, John! Pours a dark orange tinged copper, hazy, full, with decent beige orange head, laces well, stays at a smaller layer. Aromas are a nice caramel and toffee base, laying down faint toast, floral and citrusy hops come out moderately. Taste stats out with a good malty base, toast, caramel, toffee with faint raisin. Citrusy and floral hoppiness, decent bitterness but nothing overpowering. A bit floury, dough, biscuits. Hops fall behind a bit, florals and light citrusy orange and lighter grapefruit. Comes in a bit fuller further in. Good bitterness in the finish, nothing strong, citrusy, light toasty caramel. This beer grew on me. kiefdog (1602), Tampa, Florida, USA

Has some of the characteristic nose of an IPA, some citrus notes, but not overwhelmingly so, like some other ones out there. Fair balance b/w the malts and hops, though it is slightly more hoppy as it should be at minimum. Medium bodied. A little too malty and syrupy, but not bad. Rciesla (3621), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
