| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 15, 2006 On cask at Spuyten Duyvil, Brooklyn...A simple, uncomplex Irish ale. It is slightly sweet, with a malty aroma, mostly malts in the flavor as well. Very smooth and easy to drink, which was probably aided by the cask. notalush (2663), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 14, 2006 Cask at Spuyten Duyvil - shocking clarity for a cask ale - rather sweet, doughy aroma, with not much else going on - big caramel malt presence, and a slight roasty quality - quite drinkable, but really not much going on. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 7, 2006 Bottle. Dark clear reddish brown with a bumpy cream colored head, mostly lasting and leaving islets of lacing. Cookie malt aroma with some brothy yeast. Flavor of dark bread malt, slightly tangy and leathery, like a good old world ale. More hoppy tang on the finish, leaving a slightly bitter aftertaste. Quite drinkable session beer, though my particluar bottle had a bit more yeastiness than I’d like. SSSteve (2071), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
