Taste is smoothly malty - just a little sweet, but more deep in malts. Clean, slightly roasty finish. Nice octoberfest. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

Pours out an orange and brownish color with a thick tan head. All of these guys beers look awesome on the pour. Smell is rich and malty with some hop presence. Little grassy but a nice balance overall. Taste is sweet and rich. Not too bad either. JFURYCAT (792), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 29, 2006 From a 12 oz. brown bottle, fall ’06 release.
Poured a cloudy, light golden hued amber with a foamy, fluffy off-white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing, small amount of ringed sticking.
Aromas of toasted grain, sweet caramel and lightly floral.
Good carbonation and a crisp, creamy smooth light-medium bodied mouthfeel.
Pleasant Octoberfest taste, toasted grain, sweet caramelized malts, lightly floral and a soft herbal hoppiness, and a sweet toasted malty finish.
A very quaffable seasonal, tasty and balanced, well worth seeking out.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Pours a nice translucent, orange honey color with a thin, off-white head and very little lacing. Sweet malty taste upfront with a smooth, oily, lingering sweetness. Touch of earthiness and perhaps caramel. Have bought several times and would definitely buy again. A great Octoberfest. ukoolaid (572), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 1, 2006 A solid O’fest - semi-dry and herbal up front, followed by a mouthful of munich malt, maybe some caramel as well - crisp finish, yet semi-sweet and bready at the same time - I could down a few steins of this.
