Murky medium to dark orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, gren banana, fruit acidic. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light shell acidic and shell bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to ’medium to full’, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090702]

Biggish offwhite shiny lasting head. Hazy opaque pale yellow body. Light mealy wheaty aroma with faint herbal bananaish notes. Dry-sweet (and somewhat acidic) vinegary bananaish chalky taste with herbal grassy notes. Full body. Decent except for light infection. (0.3l draft at the brewpub.)

Usual Hefe presentation, and this one paints by the numbers. It has a hint of spice and some banana, ultimately can drink a few pints.

(6/21/08) Draught at the brewpub in Leipzig. Very pale yellow color (almost like a Belgian Wit or a Berliner Weisse) with a white head. Aroma is wheaty and fruity with some spices (clove is present). Sweetish flavor with some banana, light wheaty tartness and some light spiciness. Light to medium-bodied. A decent Weizen.

On tap at the brewery. Looks very good in the glass. Flavor very fruity but not too sweet. In the end also a little bit dry. Not an average but a very good hefeweizen.

Draught at the brewpub. Banana and yeast are the two main tastes in this beer. Soft mouthfeel. Mild and not sour.
