Sep 22, 2008 bottle (bierzwerg). Hazy amber-brown colour, large and creamy white head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, pleasantly malty with nice flavours of roasted malts and some dried fruit (rais, prunes). A good one.

Aug 12, 2006 Bottle: Amber coloured, small but stable off-white foam; distinctive sweet-malty nose with a faint tinge of roasted malt and a touch of raspberries (!); sweetish, later drier (malty) flavour, light to medium bodied; drier, malty finish with traces of chocolate and a distinctive bitterness in the aftertaste. Pleasant, not overwhelming..........

Jul 24, 2006 Brown color. Apple syrup aroma. Roasted malt flavor with some cake dough. Rather sweet. Apple. The slightest hint of chocolate.

Jun 13, 2006 (bottle) Hazy dark amber to brown colour with a mid-sized, not very persistent frothy beige head. Dusty roast-malty nose with caramel and a subtle fruitiness (prunes). Moderately sweet flavour, malty taste with light roasted elements; light-bitter hoppy finish with a touch of roastiness in the aftertaste.
