Commercial Description:
A burnt gold English Pale Ale brewed with the latest crop of Pioneer and Bramling Cross hops. Some malt present in the nose with a hint of lime and lemon peel. Medium bodied with some biscuit character and more citrus present in the mouth. The finish shows a clean bitterness with a touch of lingering grassiness

Cask conditioned handpump Royal Children Nottingham. An orange gold cooured beer with a whitish head and lacing. The aroma is a bit thin with some background hop only. The taste has some orangey citrus flavours but is a tad phenolic. There are signs of some hopping but it’s disappointing. More so considering the brewer. Admittedly served on the warm side (in direct contrast to the pretty cold Kipling I had here last week), but it’s not just the temperature that’s wrong here.
