hughie (2278), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jul 12, 2008 Cask, gravity, at Derby Festival ’08. Gold. Grassy, floral hop aroma and citric taste. Mid bitter finish. I made a note that haddonsman attributed the character of this beer to the Sauvin hops, and I have no reason to doubt his opinion.

Pours a nice, golden-yellow with a small, frothy, film head. Aroma is nicely hoppy, good biscuity malts. Lovely, dry mouthfeel with a light carbonation. Flavour is good malty with an impressive hoppy character of fresh fruits and pine. Very drinkable. fonefan (4871), Ulfborg, Denmark Sep 29, 2008 Cask (handpump) @ Wellington (formerly Cask & Cutler), Sheffield, Bedfordshire England S3 8GG.
