Commercial Description:
Cask & Cold Filtered Bottle; Regular.
Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

Cask, gravity, at Derby Festival ’08. Gold. Grassy, floral hop aroma and citric taste. Mid bitter finish. I made a note that haddonsman attributed the character of this beer to the Sauvin hops, and I have no reason to doubt his opinion.

Bottle @ Beer Exposed, September 2008.
Pours a nice, golden-yellow with a small, frothy, film head. Aroma is nicely hoppy, good biscuity malts. Lovely, dry mouthfeel with a light carbonation. Flavour is good malty with an impressive hoppy character of fresh fruits and pine. Very drinkable.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, flowers, grass, citrus, elderflower. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (270708)

Bottle, EBF, Copenhagen. Piney bitterness, very pale beer with a kick. A bit oily on the palate, but a fine beer for a hop head!
