Cask@Reading BF. Quite bacony, with bacon juice flavours coming through straight away. Some subtle caramel sweetness and some light roasted malt. Quite short in the finish.

Cask, Newark Fest 07. Dark brown with a small head. Aromas are chocolate and coffee malts with some earthy notes and citrus. Flavours are toffee and chocolate malts with some wheatiness. Hints of citrus. A decent mild.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2007. Very dark brown with thin dark beige head. Really good mild, lovely choc/coffee, superb, excellent mild. Got everything as well as good condition.

Gravity Cask @ Reading Beer Festival 07. Light cocoa with surprisingly hoppy nose. Good fruity almost dusty hops works well. Light but drinkable body for a strong mild. Pretty good.

A Sim rate (cask at Reading BF): Very nice porter like aroma. Chocolate, coffee and chocolate milk. Flavour not quite up to the aromas potential but still decent. For a mild, most impressed. Sharp alcohol finish.
