Jul 28, 2009 Deep black body with a slim white head. Rich burnt chocolate malt with hints of smoke. Spicey hop character.

Jan 20, 2009 On tap at Bailey’s Taproom. Dark brown pour with a soft beige head. Smoked malts in the nose with a lot of citrus hops. I really dug this beer, something about the smokiness and hops actually really worked well. Chocolate and charred flavors up front, long citrus hop finish with a pretty strong bitterness. One of the more unique "dark" IPAs I’ve had.

Oct 6, 2008 Thanks to Flem for the taster--Deep dark black-brown body with a hint of amber. Bight hop spiced nose with chalky malt spine. Very tasty...got a growler in the fridge and ready to drink it. Yum!
