| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 4, 2006 This beer introduces itself with an aroma consisting of hops, malt, pine, and citrus fruit. The glass is filled with an amber solution that resides under a thick cashew colored head. The mouth is perked to attention with the flavors offered in this beer. There is a strong hops that presence tingles with a vigorous intervention of pine. The beer flows down the throat leaving a nice robust citrus pine hops taste lingering long after the swallow. I couldn’t get enough of this beer! I held my friends up, who wanted to stop by Flossmoor on the way home, by always going back and getting another glass of this sensational solution of suds. Flossmoor didn’t matter anyway because my taste buds were blown. EddieG (163), Palos Heights, Illinois, USA

The aroma is sweet with elements of dried fruit and only slight hints of pine and citrus. The lavor si sweet and tart, bitter and easy to drink. These hops are unusual (Glacier), hard to pin down. Overall a unique adn unusually refreshing beer for an alcohol laden hop monster.
Rerate. Much more balanced with a definate pine and juniper nose and flavor. The second go araound definately hightened the malt profile to balance the unique pine flavor. Kevin (1919), Colorado, USA

Great aroma, huge orange, mango, grapefruit zest, plenty of backbone. Flavor again, very zesty up front, orange, mango, grapefruit. Huge caramel through the middle, floral character cleans the palate in the finish. Great balance for a big brew. Well done. wickster (35), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 19, 2006 This one was whacky. Tasted like they took Alpha King and dumped a bunch of extra malt into it. Don’t get me wrong, it was tasty, some major fruit feelings with a lot of carmel going on in there.
Got this one on draft while at the pub...will get again next time. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Huge fresh grapefruit and pine dry hopped aroma. Big grapefruity hop flavor. Plenty of citrus. Is there malt in there? Who cares! (and yes there is some burried but giving balance) Smelled and tasted great. The finish kept the bitterness light. Medium bodied. More please.
