This is supposed to be one of the best apa’s out there. Let’s see if it can stand up to the hype.
Apperance: Amber colored with a creamy head and quite alot of lacing.
Aroma: Caramel, Pine, Grass, Exotic fruit. Very fresh!
Flavor: Exotic fruit, Pine, Caramel, Bitter hops, Caramel, Hint of bread.
Palate: Solid malt base with a kick-ass bitterness at the end. Feel very refreshing and quite balanced even tho the ibu’s must be quite high!
This is a very good APA. Probably one of the best i’ve ever tried.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 23, 2009 I waited a long time for this beer. Got it on tap in Chicago. Pours cloudy amber with small dense lasting head. This is complex huge citrussy hop and malt mix. Thick almost oily on the palate, wow. The hops wins! Not to be taken lightly. Adenila (958), Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 22, 2009 Clear orange look with a nice big white head. Aroma holds loads of grapefruit along with some creamy notes and grain. Rock solid flavor with a relativly oily palate. Again mostly grape moutaroma with a wellbalanced hop bitter malty sweet flavor. beernbourbon (313), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2009 Bottle pours a deep cloudy reddish brown. Nice hop aroma: citrus mostly with a bit of a pine backbone. Very crisp aroma. Malt is only slightly detectable. Flavor is bit more muttled than the aroma had me believe. Malt is more evident up front and pine hops take over after that. Citrus flavor is more evident in finish, but is lighter than expected. Aroma was near perfect for stlye (IMO) but flavor seemed a bit disjointed to me. Tweety (344), Vancouver, Washington, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 21, 2009 Wow. This is clearly a beer that’s heavy on the late hop additions. SO much aroma coming off of it, with little to no discernible bitterness, and a ridiculous amount of hoppy goodness in the flavor. They’re not kidding around here!
