Kind of dark copper with a slight orange tint on the edges. Light hop aroma, a little piney. Light hoppiness, slight citrus. Pretty good. Ryan82SM (264), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 16, 2009 Hops, grapefruit and some caramel in the aroma. Appearance is reddish with just a little creamy head in my pour. Flavor was full of citrusy hop character and caramel. Palate was pretty creamy for an APA, mildly fizzy. A quality brew, and hopefully my first of many from Three Floyds. ben4321 (1041), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Pours an amber colour with a foamy off white head.
It has a nice hoppy and fruity aroma with peach, pine and citrus notes.
Flavour is extremely well balanced with notes of citrus, pine, fresh fruit and a long pleasant aftertaste. 41cubs (145), , New Jersey, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 11, 2009 First off, no way this is a pale ale. Whatever it is it’s awesome. Smell is like hop infused vanilla cake icing. Less of the sweetness in the flavor with a nice floral twinge to accompany the piney hops. Great feel in the mouth and the lips will be sticky with this facial forefather. Reminiscent of a DIPA. Thank You Three Floyds. 2009 12oz.
