| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 7, 2009 bottle. Pours ruby with a creamy, brown-tinted head. Aroma is bright pine and citrus. Flavor starts with toffee and red fruit, then transitions to cherry and grapefruit . . . so complex for a pale ale! Finishes malty and bitter, everything in balance. Overall, this is a very solid, flavorful brew, definitely the best pale ale I’ve tried. stefanje (942), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA
