Dark ruby amber in color with little head. Very nice aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. I’m a sucker for these beers with tropical fruitiness. Good hoppiness in the aroma provides some zing. Wonderfully balanced taste of lush fruit, papaya, mango, with moderate bitterness and a strong caramel malt backbone. Medium bodied. I thought this was an IPA, but turns out its a APA. Probably the tastiest pale ale I’ve had.

Aroma is sugary malt with enticing floral hops with a citrus zing. Pours a nice copper, reddish color with a small, off white head. Flavor is sweet up front, followed by caramel malt with a blast of pine tasting hops and a citrus lingering on the tongue. Nicely flavored APA. A little thin on the palate but very smooth. Excellent beer for the hop lover or someone that wants some zing after warming up with sweet, malty beers.

From StFun via trade. The pour was dark copper in color and clear. The head was off-white, creamy and dense and created nice rings of lacing. The aroma was citrus up front with a super nice compliment of sugar cookie malts and some light floral hops, grass and pine resin. The flavor was on the sweet side, with plenty of sweet caramel malt, light citrus and grassy hops on the backside. The mouthfeel was above average. I wish it had more of a citrus bite to balance against the caramel malt sweetness and grassy finish but overall it was well ahead of just about any other APA out there.

reddish pour with a nice frothy head. Hop aroma is resinous and piney, reminds me of the hop profile of an IPa. Mouth is bitter, malty, although it finishes in a nice smoothness. excellently hopped APA with a great ballance.

400th rating. Pours a reddish copper with copious carbonation. Aroma is reminiscent of an IPA- powerful piney resinous hops with grapefruit and citrus notes as well. Flavor is sweet fruity hops with a hard hitting resin bomb of a hop character. Malt character provides excellent balance- caramel makes its way in there, but hops are dominating. Excellent balance. Palate is smooth and full for the style. Excellent specimen.

pours a reddish brown with a small head. Aroma is exquisite- smells like an IPA, piney and citrusy hops, along with a definite caramel and fruity sweetness. Flavor has definite malt character balancing out with the hops nicely, but there is a definite bitter stage with a smooth finish. Palate is very nice- somewhat thin, but not in a negative way, and the citrusy bitterness sticks pleasantly long after the sip. Excellent pale ale.

[Bottle] Pours a hazy amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is crystal malt with tons of floral and citric hops. Much thicker aroma than I was expecting, and a lot darker beer too. Mouthfeel is more what I would expect from a pale ale though. Plenty of citrus and caramel flavors, with a touch of florals. Thinner in the mouth, but the caramel flavor is pervasive. Very nice, drinkable beer. Not too bitter, and a dry finish.

bottle poured a glowing amber color with a one finger off white head that clings to the glass well. aroma has fruity hops, citrus peel, pines, and sweetness. all about this one. mouth feel is fairly hefty for such low carbonation. flavor has grassy hops, caramel sweetness, and lighter bitterness than expected. the pale malt starts to hit, and this starts to male better sense. plenty of citrus goodness but it keeps restrained.
