| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 22, 2009 Pours a dark honey amber with a small off-white head. Fantastic deep, nutty, caramel malt aroma for a pale ale. Also smells of sweet American hops. Flavor is great. Extremely smooth and balanced between the honey nectar of the malts and the flowery bitter hops on the end. A few nutty flavors too. Incredible pale ale, a step over Stone’s and Dale’s. bsuhamsterman (3), Richmond, Indiana, USA does not count | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Feb 20, 2009 Is a very light orange color with a very fruity first smell out of the bottle and fresh off the tap. The hops take over on the first introduction to the palate but do not rule over the rest of the flavors that swirl through this delicious masterpiece. trayns (242), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a golden orange color and nice cloudy white head. Smells is a mild combination of hoppy pine, orange peel, and a sweet malty back drop. Taste is great combo of honey sweetness and a clean hoppy bite finish. jkwalking05 (1501), Arlington, Texas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Pours grapefruit colored with a bubbly white head. Rather sweet nose of zesty citrus, some faint malt and honey, light leaf qualities and spice. Flavor is a little more plain, bitter hop pine and grapefruit thrown in with a lot of sugar. Palate is a little flat. Very sessionable stuff, if a little straightforward. bhensonb (4376), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Bottle from Archer Liquors. Copper color with a large beige head that collapsed with a bit of lace. Huge citrus/cat pee aroma. Can’t even smell malt. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is mildly citric hop over some light malt. But that doesn’t mean it’s not hoppy. There’s a lot of florality. I think this is one of those fresh hop beers, and I think this bottle must be rather fresh. Really hops the mouth. Great mouthfeel.
