Floral hops on the nose. Even more in the flavor. A very intense brew, almost IPA-worthy. Sorry Sierra Nevada, this takes the cake as my #1 pale ale. beezz86 (68), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a minimal tan head. Had a very strong aroma of floral and citrus hops, a really nice smell. The beer had a medium body, slightly creamy texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. The flavor was the same as the smell and overall the beer had a medium bitterness. I had heard a lot about this beer, and it definately did not disappoint. I really like the blend of hops that give this beer its great aroma and taste. I will definately be drinking this beer again and would highly recommend it. pumpmaster (483), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA

| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 31, 2008 I had been looking forward to this for a long time, and I was not disappointed. Nose is pine and citrus - pineapple I thought for a while - but then realized that Mango was much more precise - absolute perfection. The flavour is a lot of the same fruitiness as the nose, backed by rich and sweet malts and a good hoppy bitterness. One of the best beers I have ever had. I have not found any three Floyd’s beers available in Europe, tried it in the Grumpy Bulldog, Naperville IL. monkeychugg55 (242), Joliet, Illinois, USA
