Pours a cloudy brown hue, with minimal watery head, and nice creamy lacing. Very floral hops pound the nose right away. Citrus and pine, too. Nothing like a big hoppy APA. Hops are powerful in the flavor, too, with citrus. A malty background balances the beer perfectly. Very easy to drink, sticky mouthfeel. Could put back a few of these with ease. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

This golden ale has an aroma of grapefruit and tropical fruits with a complex flavour and a deeply bitter finish. I found it excellent and, to my mind, it’s better than Three Floyds Dreadnought. Poured a beautiful dark orange color with almost no head. The aroma was an awesome mix of citrus, hops, and a little bit of pine. The taste was very refreshing and left the taste lingering in the back of your mouth... consisted of a lot of grapefruit-like citrus hints with a nice touch of hops in the background. Finished leaving me wanting more... I have heard the hype of this beer and am now definitely a believer! An awesome brew! msante79 (830), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA

Aroma is hops, citrus and a little malt. Flavor is floral hops, grapefruit and sweet malt. Good beer and the Best APA. 3.9
Re-rate 7/21/08: Have been drinking this a lot lately and if you like hops you will love this beer as it is hoppier than 90% of the IPA’s out there. Huge graipfruit and floral hop flavors. A true classic that everybody should have the oppertunity to try. 4.2
