Poured a beautiful dark orange color with almost no head. The aroma was an awesome mix of citrus, hops, and a little bit of pine. The taste was very refreshing and left the taste lingering in the back of your mouth... consisted of a lot of grapefruit-like citrus hints with a nice touch of hops in the background. Finished leaving me wanting more... I have heard the hype of this beer and am now definitely a believer! An awesome brew! msante79 (830), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA

Aroma is hops, citrus and a little malt. Flavor is floral hops, grapefruit and sweet malt. Good beer and the Best APA. 3.9
Re-rate 7/21/08: Have been drinking this a lot lately and if you like hops you will love this beer as it is hoppier than 90% of the IPA’s out there. Huge graipfruit and floral hop flavors. A true classic that everybody should have the oppertunity to try. 4.2 beereality (3), Chicago, Illinois, USA does not count | 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Apr 8, 2008 great beer! pours dark orange with little head that leaves great lacng. wonderous hoppy, piney smell. the taste is first hoppy with malty backbone, dry finish that makes you crave more. great mouthfeel, but look out these will creep up on you fast with 6.0 apv. could be my favorite beer Unique69crazy (119), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 30, 2008 This was pretty decent, I was expecting more out of Three Floyds with this one however. Cloudy and warm with a insightful bittering concept. Aroma was weak with a hazy head. Rivers of tingyness also come from within. Overall, it was a good brew, but the characteristics could of been further enhanced. satan165 (593), River Grove, Illinois, USA
