| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 18, 2008 aroma was very cleanly citrus hops. very fresh hop aroma that smelled like they were just pulled from my freezer at home. beer poured amber with 2 fingers of head, that remained as a film throughout the duration of drinking it. Flavor like the aroma is full of citrus hops, grapefruit most prominently. The only problem was that I found it to be a little to sharp and course for my taste, but wasn’t over the top. plate was medium bodied with the perfect amount of carbonation for a pale ale. very good pale ale StFun (534), Indiana, USA

Smells of hops just cascade all over the place. This beer doesn’t mess around. Strong STRONG flavor, citrus and bursting with hops. Nice clean and bitter aftertaste. Officially is just 6% alcohol, but it kicks a lot harder than that! I’m really liking this one now. 17thfloor (1504), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jan 14, 2008 bottle from rollinhard, thanks!...pours a hazy woody brown color with a wispy light tan head . it sticks around for a bit a leaves a small ring of lacing in the glass.
aroma is coppery malt, lemon and grapefruit skins, caramel and hay. there is a spiciness in the flavor (cinnamon?) from the hops to go along with pine, fresh apple fruitiness and citrus. it finishes dry and clean. ready for the next sip! a light hop grassiness lingers in the aftertaste. full bodied. creamy mouth feel. very easy to session and pairs great with food! | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 13, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear, dark amber with thin white head which dissipated quickly. This had an aroma of grapefruit and floral hops with sweet malt in there too. The taste was grapefruit hops and sweet caramel malt. This is not your west coast-type of APA/IPA that is clear amber with tons of hops. This one had a malt balance to it that was very present although the hops did kick in more at the end. Mouthfeel was medium with a good bitter aftertaste. mar (1939), Dallas, Texas, USA
